Welcome to Redeemer United Methodist Church, a place where the love of Christ is experienced and shared with all people. I bring you greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them." By this, he meant the Spirit, which those who believed in him were later to receive. Up until that time, the Spirit had not been given since Jesus had not yet been glorified (John 7:37–39).

The Holy Spirit helps us grow in Christlike beauty. As living water nourishes flowers, Christ’s living water nourishes our lives. When the Spirit flows within us, we are transformed and strengthened to become more like Jesus, who obeyed the Father’s will and gave his life on the cross for our salvation. As a community of believers, the Spirit shapes us into vessels of love and compassion for all people. We are called to honor God as brothers and sisters, so I encourage us to receive and taste the living water Jesus freely gives.

As we welcome the Holy Spirit’s living water into our hearts through meditation, Bible study, and prayer, we continue to blossom and grow each day in Christlike beauty.
